Oh no, boy. We don't waste garbage round here.

We save it for posterity so that future governments and tourists can feel secure that valuable resources have been pumped into the Cornish economy!

Allegedly, there is a whole mine under St. Ives filled with mining equipment abandoned in the early 20th century. So, you can't say the industrial infrastructure isn't there .....
