Not strictly speaking a pub (see below) but definitely worth mentioning as they do a weekend carvery to die for. If you do decide to give it a whirl it is recommended that you book the table, the stretcher bearers and the ambulance in advance. If you've seen the bit in Cool Hand Luke where Paul Newman has just eaten 50 boiled eggs you'll have some idea of just how full you will end up!
A semi-subterranean pub tacked on to the Western (or is the Western tacked on to it?). Regularly has music (and jazz) on and is another focal point for the local music scene. Home First Page Back Next Site Map
